TelCloud: How to Change Your Directory Name

If you have not changed your name announcement from the default one provided at the time of the installation, we encourage you to change it to match the current user’s name of the extension.

Here are the steps for changing your name’s announcement:

1. Go to your voicemail by pressing the envelope button on your phone or by dialing 5001
2. Enter your 4 digit password followed by the # key
3. Press 5 to set your current options
4. Press 2 to Record your name, press # once you are done
5. Press 1 to be announced in your company’s directory or 0 not to be in the directory
6. Done!
