Switchvox: Call Forwarding

If you’re going to be away from the office for a while and would like to forward calls to another colleague or your personal cellphone follow these easy steps to enable call forwarding:

  1. Log in to your Switchvox as your extension
  2. Go to the Answering Rules tab
  3. Click on Add New Rule Set under Unanswered Call Rule Sets
  4. Give it an appropriate name and save
  5. With the dropdown select Call Cascade (for an extension number) or Call Forward (for an internal extension) and Add Rule
  6. Input the phone number you’d like the system to forward your extensions calls to, including any dial out digits like 8 or 9 (example 94168002691), and Save.
  7. You have now successfully setup call forwarding!
