Switchvox: Call Forwarding
If you’re going to be away from the office for a while and would like to forward calls to another colleague or your personal cellphone follow these easy steps to enable call forwarding:
- Log in to your Switchvox as your extension
- Go to the Answering Rules tab
- Click on Add New Rule Set under Unanswered Call Rule Sets
- Give it an appropriate name and save
- With the dropdown select Call Cascade (for an extension number) or Call Forward (for an internal extension) and Add Rule
- Input the phone number you’d like the system to forward your extensions calls to, including any dial out digits like 8 or 9 (example 94168002691), and Save.
- You have now successfully setup call forwarding!
